GENERAL INFORMATION
Car Parking
Off street car parking is available. Turn left down Pulcroft Road (first turning after the club house entrance) and turn first left down a ten foot. The car park is at the bottom of the ten foot and the courts can be accessed from the car park. (NB torch required if leaving after dark.)
Clubhouse
The clubhouse is open on Wednesday and Friday nights.
The bar is run by Kim Harrop. Members are able to hire the clubhouse for social events. The hire charge is £35. Further details are available from Kim on 645432.
Floodlights
Lights cost £1.00 for 12 minutes (£5.00 per hour) and are operated from the entrance lobby. Booking is required in the off season and floodlights are not permitted after 10pm.
If you wish to use the floodlights ask Mike (al*****@**************co.uk) to register you on the Clubspark Booking Website. A court can be booked for a maximum of 2 hours up to a week in advance. Preferred two hour slots 4-6, 6-8, and 8-10.
Keys
A key to the front door of the clubhouse giving access to the toilets, changing rooms and notice-boards is available from the club treasurer, Mike Alsop (652262). There is also a key box enabling any member to use the keys to enter the club house. The key box number is shared with members.
USE OF CHANGING ROOMS
Players are encouraged to change into, and out of, their tennis clothing at home, rather than at the club. For players who do change in this changing room it is important that they are and feel safe, as they do so.
To this end you are asked to abide by the following:
1. On Friday evenings, when junior coaching is taking place, adult players are not allowed to use the changing rooms to change. At other times, if an adult player wishes to get changed, and it happens that a junior member is in the changing rooms, they must wait until that member leaves.
2. Mobile phones and other electronic devices should not be used in the changing rooms.
3. Anyone who has any concerns about their use, or other people’s use, of the changing rooms, should contact the club’s Welfare Officer, Helen Longstaff
(07825 910965), or another member of the committee.
