  • 3 Mixed

and one men’s team in the Yorkshire League.

We run regular tournaments throughout the year – singles & doubles for seniors & juniors.

American Tournaments

These very popular mixed doubles events are organised throughout the season.

Players of all abilities have the chance to compete with a number of different partners in a round robin format.

Prizes (usually wine) are awarded to the winning lady and man.

It is a great opportunity to meet other members.

Entry is £2 and the tournament dates are displayed on the clubhouse window and can also be found on the website calendar.

SENIOR CLUB TOURNAMENTS

Senior Winter and Summer Tournaments. The dates of each event will be displayed on the clubhouse window and can be found in the website calendar. The organiser will invite entries prior to each tournament.

JUNIOR TOURNAMENTS

For juniors there are age group tournaments organised internally.

CLUB NIGHT & TEAM PRACTICE SESSIONS

Club SOCIAL TENNIS “Mix In” sessions *

  • Wednesday 6pm – Seniors & Intermediate

For those wanting to play socially, Wednesday evenings are senior club sessions throughout the year and attendance each week is organised via a Whatsapp group.

Once deemed sufficiently proficient and added to the group you will receive a message on a Tuesday asking if you will be attending.

On the Wednesday you will receive another message stating who you will be playing with and on which court.

After the first set, mix in may occur, usually with the players on the adjacent court.

Any privately arranged games already in play must cease at 6pm.

*Unfortunately, Wednesday evening social sessions are not available to beginners. They are designed for players who have a basic mastery of tennis skills and can serve and maintain a rally.

COMPETITIVE TENNIS & Team practice sessions (Invite only)

  • Saturday 10am – Ladies
  • Sunday 10am – Mens

Team practices are for players who’ve been selected to play for teams in the Hull & District League. Practice sessions are by invite only and arranged for league players so they can practice against players of a similar standard and are not social club sessions.

(Please note, other courts should be available for social tennis during these training times)

If you are interested in being involved contact Karen (07951 956726) or visit the team practice sessions.

See DETAILS OF our MEMBERSHIP OPTIONS.

Our children have been members and joined in coaching, and enjoyed holiday clubs, family tournaments and BBQ’s for well over 10 years. My son is now an adult member and still loves it.

The club is so welcoming and well-run. As a family we’d highly recommend it to anyone!
