Welcome to Hessle Tennis Club.

Founded in 1912, the club can proudly boast that it is the oldest club in the Hull and District League. Our facilities are however right up to date. We have four all weather synthetic courts and three hard courts.

Being the silly person I am, I left my racket in the clubhouse a couple of weeks ago - Thursday August 19th, it was. If anyone has picked it up can you help it to find its way home, please? Tel 569801 or email keithporteousinhull@yahoo.co.uk.

Please note the Junior Presentation Evening is on Friday 10th September and the Senior/Student Presentation Evening is on Saturday 23rd October. Please try and make every effort to attend and celebrate another successful season.

Because the summer holidays have started and the junior BBQ was held last Friday there seems to be a misunderstanding that junior coaching on a Friday evening has now finished.
This is not the case. Friday evening coaching sessions will continue until at least Friday 3rd September and probably beyond.

If you are 18 or under sign up in the clubhouse for the U18 tournament. The draw will be made on Friday 23rd July. You will need to arrange your own matches which will be the best of 3 sets. The final will be played in the first week of September. See Alison or Dave for more details.

Friday 23rd July is BBQ night. Celebrate the start of the school holidays with a burger or a hot dog!
Food will be available from 5.30pm. Burgers and hot dogs are 50p for juniors and £1 for adults.

Mini Red 5 to 7 years
Mini Orange 7 to 9 years
Cost: £4.50 per day or £12.50 for 3 days

10.30 - 12.00pm
Mini Green 9 to 11 years
Full Ball Tennis 12 years+
Cost: £6.50 per day or £18 for 3 days

Just a reminder that the free coaching period provided with junior's membership subscription ended last Friday (25th June) and therefore from this coming Friday (2nd July) a coaching fee of £4 is payable at each weeks attendance.

14 & U (born 1996 or later) 9.30am

18 & U (born 1992 or later) 12.30am

Entry fee is £2

Hessle LTC is hosting a Men's Open Tournament.
This will be the first time Hessle LTC have held such an event and it would be great to see it well supported, not only by our own players, but by tennis players from across the region.
The tournament organiser is Steve Batte and the tournament will consist of :-
Men's singles for 35-45-55-60 age categories
Men's doubles for combined age categories +80 +90 +100 +110
